Lets be honest. Pre match i thought they'd trounce us 5-0 at best. We played a second fiddle squad. We gave numbers to u23 sqaud players just to get the game on.
We lost on pretty much the last kick of the game.
We hit the woodwork what 3 times?
There's alot of positives to take from yesterday.
We'll stay up this season. That was always the goal from the start. It was never going to be an easy task. With 20 steaight wins to get the points in the bag. We need 7 wins from our remaining games. That's not going to be an issue.
Then we build from there.
Think some of you are expecting too much too soon. Saddlers plan was to be on the championship at the end of this season.... We're already ahead of schedule.
