Missing a leader on the pitch

I ve saying this for 2 months need a skipper on the pitch , how do you keep repeating the mistakes, midfield lacks bite and craft need a winger to give madine some service and two good fulbacks to start with

Wasn't he another of Cricthley's red card warriors? To be fair, I always liked Ben.
 
We're missing a leader in the technical area as well. I said from the off we lacked players who roll up their sleeves when the tough gets going. Virtue is a big miss and whilst I wasn't a fan of Spearing or Fonz on the pitch, I'm sure we miss that sort of player on the training ground.
 
We are missing a leader on the pitch, we are also missing a leader off the pitch. Someone who instead of constantly, metaphorically, patting them on the back and telling them how well they played and how unlucky they were. Can, in the dressing room, not in public throw a few f***ks into them, give them a right blasting and less of the Mr. nice guy.

we also needed a leader in pre season which most of us pointed out.

My general annoyance is that, this fact was obvious 2/3 months ago and now we are already in a quagmire.

A leader as well as 2 or 3 other ‘spine’ signings should have been brought in during pre season. We’re now a walking disaster every time we go on the pitch. Which is incredibly hard to change mid way through a season.

If they'd have bothered asking about Tuesday's red card and appeal against it, then if it had been turned down we could have sorted Heneghan for the weekend. Can I just say the signing of the Viking was the biggest waste of time ever at this rate!
 
Am not sure what Howard did wrong really - looked a better prospect than the lad they brought in and was Spearings Number Two and kept the players united during lockdown.

This is just one of the huge bollox they dropped in the close season. It will show itself when Maxwell gets injured.
