Just opened it...so he was 18 or at oldest 19 and he gets a 4 game ban and hung out to dry as a 27 year old young man ......What a Brilliant way to handle things......really really well thought out process this is, a fantastic direction to take eh .....totally counter productive and brainless

In a world where the EFL and the FA let clubs get run in to the ground by terrible owners at least they're massively proactive on some lad calling someone else gay 8 years ago.

I suspect the Peterborough lad is a pawn in a much wider strategy: come down hard on a few blokes in their 20s for comments made in their late teens in order to serve notice to today's youth players about the need to behave. The message being, 'misbehave now and it can have repercussions well down the line.

Still doesn't justify what's happening, where is it going to stop?. I have to chuckle though when we are accused of being bigots if we don't support the knee against racism, seems some of the players are being just a tad hypocritical.
