I find it very sad how many take the bait with these twatter and message board rumors.

You're always going to get rumours in the absence of information.

1. Talked about Thompson's 'moment of madness' and he'll remember that. The lad is not a Critch signing and so he has no loyalty to him
2. Love that he goes home and watches the videos - proper Manager
3. Talked about playing the ball out and losing possession against Tranmere and said he takes some responsibility - wonder if he'll try and get the ball forward quicker this time round?

Getting the ball forward quicker relies on alertness all round to find space, accurate passes played firmly and players with a good first touch to control it. Love to see it when it works. The alternative method is of course to lump it but we don't have a Gaz any more.

Good post and I am sure NC will have been doing endless drills with them on that part of that playing style.

Also relies on the keeper having the vision to play the right balls .. the only area I felt O'Donnell fell down in.
