Mate of mine ST holder wants to go for his birthday worth going?
Does the £10 entitle you to anything as I'm sure seen free pies and pints given or is this selected games?

At the moment there is a free pie & pint offer so on the face of it, good value for a tenner....

Unfortunately the pies are rank.

Decent lounge to meet up / relax with pals before the game.

Only done it once. It’s purely convenience. You can get in there for 1, get a table, pint and a pie for your tenner. Get a little voucher, just use when you want. Then it’s just like a normal bar but you just walk out of a door straight into the North. Handy.

Same applies at half-time, you get a wristband and they check you going back up. Few queues but far easier and more comfortable than the A few don’t come back out for 2nd half and watch it in there but pictures behind the crowd noise.

I did at Norwich and it was the first game of the free pie and pint offer (we’d already booked before it was on offer) and by 2ish it was rammed, not enough tables/seats and reminded me of an airport terminal when there’s a load of flight delays with bodies just sat leaning on walls. Not sure what it’s been like since?

Will go again though 👍🏼

Great to have the option.

I went up there and I think that the pie had been to more games than I have this season.
These pies don’t half get a battering! 😁 two people next us yesterday left theirs after eating two mouthfuls, stating ‘they’re bloody shit’
There must be a lot of 3 legged dogs running around Poulton 😳

You get a sense of superiority and to look out at oiks without wristbands as you glance knowingly at your fellow premium lounge patron, satisfied that you're all a better class of fan.

That's frankly priceless. Who needs a pie or a pint?

Personally, I use the spit and sawdust lounge. It's free to enter and you get some warm bitter and a portion of shoulder chips.

Thanks for your input my mate will be well advised after your post.🤣

There’s no sense of superiority, it’s literally just a room with a few TV’s & seating, where you pay a tiny amount of cash for the benefit of access to a decent bar, lack of queuing etc…

It’s worth a tenner all day long and at the minute you’ve been getting the free pie and pint on top.

You say that but I've heard the braying laughter from inside. It's all smoking jackets, designer cocaine and skiing holidays in there. School catchment area chat and 'what's best? BMW or AUDI 4*4s?'

(I've never been. I just like to pretend it's so as it suits my blinkered outlook on things I don't engage with)

Don’t really get the issue here, we’re talking a couple of extra quid on a match day.
For anyone who buys a pie and a pint, they’d have a decent place to catch up pre match with mates and at half time. Hardly ‘prawn sandwich’ is it.. it’s more of a case of convenience. Quite simple really and generates income for the club.

You’ve certainly got a very vivid imagination.

Still not confirmed you get a pint/pie for your tenner.😁

They'll be serving prawn sandwiches next. It's how gentrification happens. Starts off seeming all inclusive but before you know it, you're pricing our ruffians and there'll be people in there called Crispin and Juniper.

It’s just a bar with the same access to the same products you can get on the concourse - it’s just people pay a few extra quid to be able to get a pint/pie without having to compromise 10 mins before half time and more than likely 10 mins into second half

I'm bored - I'm just typing shit. I don't really think anything about it. All power to anyone who wants to go. It's not for me cos I'm always driving and am anti social out of town loner so it's pointless.

Do you get the pleasure of an injured player at the moment? We've so many of them I'd like to think they'd put them to use .. even if it's warming up the pies!

Is it only Tories and Poulton types allowed in Bifster?

You need to try the sober, anti social, out of Towner lounge mate. It’s £35 on top of your season ticket, you get a cold lounge with no tables, no food and warm bottled pisswater lager (Budweiser) for £8 a bottle and a fukcing schlappping as you leave. I’ve tried it and can’t recommend it highly enough 👍

I suspect there may be a few socialist anorak types that pop in now and again in the hope of a craft ale and arty farty conversation, but yes it’s mainly Tories, Racists and members of the Round Table 👍

Pay to drink???...err no thanks....About £14.00 for your first pint. Yeah right.
Yes but as already said you get to feel Elite and part of the In crowd. They have all the celebs up there mate….as an example I was able to buy Satriale’s a pint a few games back and he let me talk to him for a couple of minutes so I can now tell my mates I’m a good friend of his….they are Green with envy and are always asking me “what’s he really like Andy?….because you know the real Bada” (as they still call him)

Where do I book?……assume Birds aren’t encouraged to go in?…..well I sincerely hope that’s the case

Sounds good. Can I pay for a season up front?
