Join the clubYes you were! I was the only Blackpool supporter who never went to that game because apparently I never go to Blackpool games!
RudeI think anyone who sits next to you at BR might pop in there for a few, just to numb the pain.
It's a day out, nobody is advocating that we all drink Moretti all day every day!!Now I'm no kill joy and I like the fact the offerings are broadening at BR; but last year we were sponsored by Get Vocal and we all know the relationship between alcohol and poor mental wellbeing.
Just wondering about the ethical dimensions to some of this stuff - and of course for the vast majority it'll be a one off enjoyable day with a chance to have some higher quality lager.
Do we have the balance right?
No idea how it works, but if it's drink all you can, it becomes a target, that's all.Flippin eck ..... some people just enjoy moaning. They've sponsored a bar, ie a place where alcohol is consumed! Their name isn't across the club's shirt!!!
It isn’t drink all u can.its just access to the private bar areaNo idea how it works, but if it's drink all you can, it becomes a target, that's all.
Anyway it appears as though most people like it, so perhaps the balance is right.
It’s all fizzy pish lager. Ok as a cold thirst quencher on a hot sunny day I suppose.Decent Italian lager kilometres better than Heineken.
Depends where you drink it's £3.10 in my local.NICE BEER but expensive .

Thought the North was getting a Stone(s) Is. Lounge?Balls! Surely the more cultured appeal of Moretti is better suited to the south, and the groundlings of the North would much prefer the populist brew that is Heineken? The West won't care, most of them are on flasks of Bovril and Mogadon cocktails anyway.
Oh no we’re not.Balls! Surely the more cultured appeal of Moretti is better suited to the south, and the groundlings of the North would much prefer the populist brew that is Heineken? The West won't care, most of them are on flasks of Bovril and Mogadon cocktails anyway.
I thought white Lightning Cider would be more suited to the North.Balls! It's an upgrade from the Heineken LoungeFlippin eck ..... some people just enjoy moaning. They've sponsored a bar, ie a place where alcohol is consumed! Their name isn't across the club's shirt!!!
Is Carling classed as a real ale these days?!... I never knew!Should be a real ale bar in the west … who doesn’t like the taste of warm vomit at the match?
Just head for the penthouse. Always a dozen "nieces" on hand just in case there's any unexpected visitorsMassage Parlour.
Do you get Moretti as well?Just head for the penthouse. Always a dozen "nieces" on hand just in case there's any unexpected visitors
Natch...as much as you can drink. Don't ask for the Kimmel though, strictly banned!!!!Do you get Moretti as well?
When I had their mental capability all I was legally allowed to buy was a can of Shandy from the newsagents.I thought white Lightning Cider would be more suited to the North.
Sounds good to me but if we're talking Mr Fitzpatrick's, I prefer their Sour Cherry & HibiscusTemperance bar…Sarsaparilla & Dandelion & Burdock on keg….
Now you're talking Fr Bayerns getting fed up of dropping me off on Cookson Street!Massage Parlour.
All they need to do is sell blooody beer tokens in the club shop. Stock up at your leisure and then have the staff simply pouring at the bar rather than pissing about with payment. Anyone without tokens can buy them from a small kiosk away from the bar.If they could sort out the bar in the west, I’d certainly go earlier and have a couple of pints and a pie, have to be decent ones though. How they do that though is difficult due to the small area. Hopefully they’ll at least have fast flow pumps and I’d have one for food and drinks and one for just drinks, which would speed up service for those just wanting a drink.
