He was a very good player here and, in theory, fitted the model perfectly. It would be interesting to know if we tried to make the deal a perm. one. Overpaying would have been worth it.

All a bit if my aunt was etc, but perhaps sometimes loans should be with a bit of the future in mind.
 
Football at the elite level is mental.
A players worth what a club is willing to pay. But Morgan being worth more than the value of our whole starting 11 is just crazy.
 
I thought he was a decent championship player no more that, so no way is he a 15 million premier league regular.

I think the time to have attempted to sign him permanently was the summer that Appleton came in. We were linked with him but then he got injured. Once we went back in for him in January I doubt he’d have signed permanently for a team in the relegation zone and he definitely wouldn’t have signed in the summer after we were relegated
 
Rogers at 15m is an inflated price for a good but not outstanding player. What price will Joseph be worth if he continues to develop and adds a few goals to his game?
 
Cameron Archer was a much better Championship player than Morgan Rogers.
Villa sell him for £18m then buy Rogers for £15m.
Poor deal.
