Most disappointing result of the season so far?

Which result has frustrated you so far?
Think Orient at home for me. 2 points dropped because of poor selections and negative tactics.
Just my opinion but I'd prefer to bask in a 3-0 home victory against a Team who are higher in the League at this point, some superb performances (CJ, Casey, Husband, Dale to name a few) and another clean sheet.

The home defeat to Derby, not just because it was our only Defeat, but because we just carried on with slow movement and possession across our back line when it was obvious they weren't going to press. They just kept their shape and hit us on the break ..

...3 times!

We just didn't do much to change it.
Very poor game

Lincoln away. Utter shite from start to finish.

We beat Exeter and Orient with Rhodes, btw

Charlton last week, they were awful and some how we tossed 2pts away.
Newbury, I would have to disagree about your assessment of Charlton mate.
Appleton made some great substitutions, whether through desperation or tactical astuteness I don’t know but I certainly don’t recall him making substitutions like that when he was here. In fact I would go as far to say that was certainly one of his weak points
After the subs I thought Charlton were by far the stronger side and were favourites to win so under the circumstances a draw was a good result
With that said our tactics of setting up to protect our 2 goal lead backfired.
My philosophy is to go for the jugular and continue to press but if a manager does that and they lose then they get slated for playing that way.
Hence a no win situation for any manager.

We (Albie Morgan) gifted them a way back into a game they shouldn't have been close to getting a point. Their 2nd was a great strike but I felt it was more to do with our poor substitutions than anything else. I don't really recall Grimshaw having much to do until the 81st minute. That said I had been on the train and boat enjoying a few beers so my recollection might not be what it should. 🤣

Mine is derby but for for completely different reasons.

First half we were poor.

Second half I thought was actually a good watch and could’ve gone either way. If Carey’s header goes in rather than hitting the bar I would’ve backed us to go on and win it.

Most disappointing defeat for me not because I thought we were poor but because there really wasn’t much in it in the second half, we were just punished by 3 very good goals.

Worst result of the season? probably last week when I had my diabetic review and they told me to cut back to 3 to 4 cups of coffee a day 😉

Anyone know where I can buy some bigger cups? ☕😂🤣

Wycombe for me, we didn’t play from the 1st to the 91st min.
We had a perfectly good goal ruled out and their first was offside.

We weren’t great, but we had some rotten luck and have played a lot worse (Lincoln was the pits)

Surely it's one of, if not all 3 consecutive 0-0's against seemingly 'lesser' opposition...

Funny looking at the team that day in hindsight ..

Grimshaw, Pennington, Casey, Husband, Hamilton, Morgan, Norburn, Weir, Connolly, Beesley, Rhodes

You can see the weaknesses there with Morgan, Connolly and Beesley.
