MSG meet with the club.

I think they got dragged in and warned to behave themselves tomorrow.

This is news to the Club! Having spoken with them just now, they confirm that no such meeting has taken place. An announcement on a new fan engagement strategy will be made in the coming weeks. The Club is working to enhance engagement with ALL corners of the supporter base.

😂 Who did they meet with?

The tea lady?

MSG will absolutely need to release the minutes as you can’t on one hand slag off BST for ‘secret meetings’ and then do exactly the same.

This is their chance to prove the doubters wrong and do things correctly.

Looks like it’s a mix up and it was just a meeting between the MSG and the Armfield Club over a Sunday League matter.

Yes… that seems to be the case. Understandably quite confusing.
😂 yes. Confusing.

Although as I said on the other thread, it seems to me more like a MSG prank that’s backfired.

If Julian Winter is trying to persuade Simon Sadler that the club should enter into a regular dialogue with the Muckers, I can’t see that these jolly japes will be making his job any easier.

Maybe not so much a ‘prank’ as a calculated way to prove a point? Maybe they’ve been watching the Colleen Rooney Documentary and cobbled a sneaky plan together over a few beers!!

I doubt the prospect of Fig Biscuits and Tea with Julian Winter is an objective that features to highly on the MSG list of priorities any more.

Anyway… hopefully things will settle down soon and our Supporters Groups can focus on Supporting 👍

Maybe. Some of my best plans have been devised after a few beers. And then the next morning I struggle to see why I ever thought they were so clever.

But if the MSG aren’t that fussed about meeting with the club after all (with or without fig biscuits), then it’s probably just as well. But as I’m not a member of the MSG that’s no skin off my todger.

How many 'members' does the MSG have?
The same question for BST?
I think that BST has about 900 paid up members. Can't be sure mind
No idea on MSG members but it's not a like for like comparison anyway so....

They don't actually state what club they met.

Golf club, conservative club or even a comedy club.

Either way the minutes should be posted and scrutinised.

Why, what difference would it make except to have all the gossips adding 2 + 2 together and making 5.
Next we'll be having Mansford in marches...

Since SS took over the club it's probably progressed more in the last 4-5 years than it had in the previous 30.
People wanted a 'proper' football club.
We were a laughing stock before he came along, now, except for a few knobs on the terraces, we are a well respected Football Club.
People, especially self serving wannabes should let SS and his team get on with the job of doing what they're doing without constant whinging from the few who have the biggest gobs.

Can anyone answer this question?

What is wrong at or with the club at this current time?

Well said. We are now a professional well run and well structured club with an owner that cares.

He invests more money than he receives and has improved every single aspect of the club off the pitch.

On the pitch we had also improved until last season, but that wasn’t down to ripping off the club, it was down to normal sport stuff - basically employing the wrong people and not being as good as other teams. Normal club stuff. That’s how it should be. Nothing controversial- just win or lose, aspects that we can debate.

It is a normal, well run club that aspires, like most, to be better than it is within the constraints of its budgets.

Can only be down to a small number of people wanting to be noticed to feed their egos after being in the limelight during the bad old days.

I'd tend to agree.

I also feel that what is at play here is a desire by certain wannabes to be akin to the role the ultras play in Italian football.
Ive thought this for a while now....could be way off the mark but the MSG seem to have a bit of an elitist attitude.

or..... it's just the tip of the iceberg, and we're being alerted to nefarious goings-on at the club.

Simon Sadler is being controlled by a shadowy cabal made up of the BST Top Brass, the SLO, Uri Geller, Doja Cat and Scar from the Lion King.
A dark and powerful force that's infecting every aspect of the club and constantly plotting against the true fans.

Can’t you see the bigger picture? That they’re the puppet masters, responsible for everything?
BasilRobbie 3 is constantly watching you - have you checked under your bed recently?

* Removes tinfoil hat *

You are Nadine Dorries, and I claim my £5. :)

I think you may have missed the point.
