I know I should hang my head in shame but there are 5 players on that photo who I don't know - inc. the reserve keeper. Can someone post the full team please?

There was a reserve keeper called Ward around that time if memory serves me correctly.
George Wood was a great keeper.

Bob Ward. Came in 1977. He played a bit, he's in nets on a game on YouTube v Luton in 1977.

He went on to be a Physio. Drank in The No 4. He went to Chelsea as Physio and whenever Chelsea were playing Up North in the late 80's he used to bring a couple of their players with him to the boozer.

Scots lad Colin King is the keeper.Saw him play for the reserves. Not a bad keeper but had Budgie and Wood ahead of him. Never played for the first team but went to Clydebank and played a few games for them. There is a video of him on You Tube from 4 years ago talking about his involvement in BFC Community Trust.

Saw Colin King play at Turf Moor for the reserves, got his autograph after the game. Also I'm pretty sure George Wood played up front that day as well

Have known Colin since mid 1980s. Really nice guy. We we both members at Olympia Gym above John Halls for years. Also worked with him at Blackpool College.

The good old days 16 players on a club photo 👍🏻 Not like todays pampered squads of 40 plus

Exactly lad. And I could name everyone of them without looking them up. West Stand Block A or B that season did 15 games as a 6/7 year old and still got the programmes although I drew all over a lot of them in felt tip 🤣 .

I think I noticed that there was a Bob Ward’s physio ‘shop’ near the ground last time I was up.
Could that be the same bloke?
Saw him play in a 2v1 win at Blackburn in the mid 70’s. Looked a decent keeper.

My only memory of Kevin Moore is him scoring a worldy at home against Southampton I think 1975 ish.A top bin curling rocket from about 25 yards.

Moore quite fast winger never fulfilled his potential . I remember him playing a blinder in a night game at home and thought he would be a rising star but no it never happened. His dad was a on the board for a while and used to give him a lift to training in his Roller.

My first year too on a regular basis. Alan Suddicks' Blackpool career was coming to an end and we didn't really have a replacement. If only we could have added a Charlie Adam type player to that team we would have walked promotion.
