Name these players

That's a very good picture. well before I started watching the Mighty but I think that's Ray Charnley stood next to Sir Jimmy, back row, 3rd and 4th from the right. I'd be interested to see if others can put names to faces.

I think that's Charlie Adams is top row 4 in.

2nd row 5th in from the left is Richard Kingson.

Bottom row 4th from the right is deffo Marco Gabiaddini.

Don't know about the rest.........

As above plus Barrie Martin , Dave Durie , Graham Oates , Leslie Lea , Bill Cranston . Others look familiar but can't put a name to them .

Think his point is anyone who started supporting 'Pool in the new millennium would have no idea who those people are.
I would suspect that very few could identify the 1953 cup winning side by sight but it doesn't make them less of a supporter of Blackpool.
The only reason I got Mandy Hill from that photo was because he was a neighbour and I'd known him from childhood.
You'll also notice I commented 'looks' like as I wasn't sure.
Does that make me less of a fan?🤦‍♂️

Tommy Thompson to the left of Glyn James as we look at it? 2nd row down , 7th from right

2 out of 3 /// must try harder
So who've I got wrong?
Thommy Thompson 2nd row from the back, 11 from the left.
John Craven, back row 6 from the left.
Ronnie Suart is the first one on the second row left side.

Could you post their positions on the picture? I got Armfield, Charnley, Glynn James and Waiters. I know a lot of the names mentioned but don't know their faces.

Thanks Wizzer boy for your input which I take as it is given however I hope that you enjoyed looking at the photograph and identifying Mandy Hill and did not follow up by making stupid and irrelevant guesses i.e. Marko Gabiaddini. perhaps we should post pool articles say after 2020 so that everyone could join in I certainly do not think of him less of a fan but less of a person

5 in from the left, top row is Gordon West before he became the worlds most expensive goalkeeper in 1962 going off to the Toffees for £26,000 🙂

Front row on floor second left looks like Gordon Marsland ex St. George’s schoolboy who signed for Blackpool in 1960 and was a regular reserve team player till late 1964 though he never made the first team.
