So they can send men to the moon and search machines to Mars but people are still dying unnecessarily on the planet on which we live.
Would it not be better to channel all their resources in trying to make THIS planet livable rather than going round the universe collecting rocks?

The way earth is heading it will be like Mars in the futureSo they can send men to the moon and search machines to Mars but people are still dying unnecessarily on the planet on which we live.
Would it not be better to channel all their resources in trying to make THIS planet livable rather than going round the universe collecting rocks?

No matter how much aid you give to poorer countries, human nature will kick in.
Greed,selfish and opinionated. Just look at all the Civil wars in the likes of Yemen and Africa.
We are a mean race but we do like to explore and without that instinct we would all be interbred!

No one is poorer or hungrier from Nasa going to mars, The technology that has been invented because of the problem solving of going into space has real world implications for life on earth.
Also NASA budget is only 0.48% of USA GDP Compared to military budget of 3.4%
