He is the manager who would get us back on track. Out of work for a while now, he may be unlikeable if he isn't your manager but it would be good to have someone like him in charge of us, he would be our horrible manager then and he is not out of our range. Knows how to work on a budget and motivate players. Far better than the incompetent we have now and not an ex player or manager of ours.

There’s no way of knowing that really. Certain managers suit certain clubs. He did very well at Luton, not so much at Stoke. He might be happy here, he might not.

If that was the case then surely Plymouth would be sniffing around him. He isn't in the betting to my knowledge.
Every chance, if he gets the right deal, he would relish the challenge.
12/1 9th favourite on Sky Bet so he's been in the conversation.

His last job was in the Premier League so he'll be aiming for the Championship. Pie in the sky stuff but not as bad as Steve Cooper 👍

Not as bad as Cooper...as in, difficult to get or not as good?

Sadler likes Critch because he is someone to coach young players and then sell them on, plus create some kind of overall identity at the club. That's all well and good, but we also need a proper first team manager. It's a huge job to do both those tasks. He needs help, like he had previously.

It’s a myth that Critchley develops young players though. Who has he actually improved, with the possible exception of Bowler? (who isn’t actually that young).

God no. Obnoxious little shit.

Plus he's been gone too long.

Issue is that it is bloody rare for a manager to get it right in season 1 and normally takes 2 if not 3 seasons to rotate and change the squad to fit their style and formation.

Would we give our next manager that much time? Would we give them more than half a season if it wasn’t instant success?

I saw Fergie was named earlier. See Klopp in recent times. Took a few seasons

Antonio Conte has been out the game since Spurs. Maybe we could tempt him back? What about Fergie and Wenger? Both knocking on a bit but as a duo I’m sure we could make it work

Nathan Jones suits a smaller club with lower expectation and a strong but smaller fanbase.
I would take him in a heartbeat not least because I think he is a bit more ruthless which is what we need.

Fucks sake, he literally did exactly the same thing Critchley did, yet Critchley is a snake?

He hates us ever since we beat them in the playoffs he’s a very bad loser and a weak little man just like the man (if you can call him that) we’ve got in charge now
