Neil Critchley, this is what he does.

The majority of us knew he was a good manager and the tinkering ( and at times boring footy) was him finding his best starting team and working out his approach to games .

The he left us without saying goodbye supporters, is sentimental piss and wind .

The football on offer is improving both in terms of entertainment and results - how somebody can describe two 4 nil wins as "dull" is plain daft.

Those who wanted Dobbie are the same as those who thought Andy Pilley was our saviour . I except they were desperate times.

There will be ups and downs and the latter ,in particular, will be met with usual emotional incontinence .

Last season was shite but I have maintained that we will be in the mix come April .For all the excitement of play off, I would much prefer to avoid that but I know its the Blackpool way

He takes time, he's painstaking, he changes the team too often, he says "errr" too much, he plays players out of positions, he tinkers, he trawls, he frustrates, BUT his process is unquestionable, because regardless of what you think of the man, he improves the team and players throughout the season, it's what he does.

It's not always immediate, but every full season he's managed, the team he ended with was better than what he started with and that is 100% down to the methodology of Neil Critchley. And we are starting to see that improvement take place throughout the squad in spades...

We haven't won anything yet, there will be many more ups and downs, but with Neil Critchley at the helm I have full faith that regardless of what happens we will only go from strength to strength with this squad. Lucky to have him.

Progress is our club motto and Neil Critchley perfectly embodies that.
