It's too close to PKE anyway. It's white and blue!Did anyone else think that our away shirt with tangerine shorts looked awful. I'd read we were using navy sorts - or is that a little too close to PKE?
Thought the kit looked great. White shirt, tangerine shorts, how way kits should be.Did anyone else think that our away shirt with tangerine shorts looked awful. I'd read we were using navy sorts - or is that a little too close to PKE?
If you knew anything about our club you’d know that white and blue is part of our historical colour scheme…It's too close to PKE anyway. It's white and blue!
As if Preston would ever put tangerine on any kit of theirs. I know a lot of fans on here are obsessed with PKE but making a kit with the same colours as theirs is a bit OTT
Ok, more like Luton TownGreat to see the club taking a risk and making kits that actually justify a purchase. So sad and pathetic people saying because it has blue on it it’s too much like Preston, grow up fgs!
Would Preston put tangerine on a kit, ever? I'll answer for you....no! Why would they?Great to see the club taking a risk and making kits that actually justify a purchase. So sad and pathetic people saying because it has blue on it it’s too much like Preston, grow up fgs!
Absolutely loathe the new away shirt, nothing to do with it looking like a PNE kit, just think it looks really cheap and tacky. It’s a brilliant kit and those most likely to buy a replica kit it will almost certainly buy it. Those complaining quite frankly weren’t exactly the target market. Any grown man saying it’s PNE colours needs to give themselves a shake - Blackpool have been wearing white and navy for a hell of a long time. It’s only a little Navy too, not exactly a PNE tribute.
It's got a few dark blue flashes on it that you don't even notice from a distance in the ground. It's nowhere near a blue and white shirt. The back is completely white, by the way.Would Preston put tangerine on a kit, ever? I'll answer for you....no! Why would they?
White and blue is the colour of our biggest rivals. Would Everton wear a red away top? Would United wear a Sky blue away top? Again, I'll answer for you....no.
I don't wear footy tops and haven't since I was about 18 so the design can be whatever and I won't lose sleep over it. I just don't get why the club would want us to have white and blue for an away kit.
I'm off to grow up now, dad!
I would have preferred dark blue in place of the white and tangerine in place of the dark blue…I would have preferred light blue in place of the white.
That picture saved in your bank is it?
I like to call it a 'Dossier'.That picture saved in your bank is it?
With a 'T'I like to call it a 'Dossier'.
its the blue trim with tangerine that makes it an odd combo for me.Some daft comments on here. Up until recent years, we always had a white away shirt, usually with tangerine shorts. That shirt was used in the 90s. I've got an all-white 1998 Lotto Telewest shirt, has black trim on it, the only tangerine is a small "Seasiders" on the breast. I've never in 25 years every thought of it as looking like a Nobbers shirt.
I've got that keeper's shirt in my wardrobe.
I never noticed a keepers shirt to be honest.I've got that keeper's shirt in my wardrobe.
They wear white shirts and blue or white shorts. We usually wear white away kit and tangerine shorts or white shorts. Stan Matthews and Morty wore those colours. The blue flecks aren’t part of PNE tradition so the only people who would say “it looks like PNE” are PNE WUMs in my opinion.Would Preston put tangerine on a kit, ever? I'll answer for you....no! Why would they?

Isn't that what the private sector call all of the public sector?I like to call it a 'Dossier'.
Nothing wrong with a white shirt & Tangerine shorts, the issue for me is the dark blue strips on it, to me they look like strips of masking tape and make it look cheap & tacky
Blue and white is PNE colours, there's blue on the collar and end of the sleeves, regardless of if it looks like a PKE top or not. It's got a few dark blue flashes on it that you don't even notice from a distance in the ground. It's nowhere near a blue and white shirt. The back is completely white, by the way.
Plus the shorts are tangerine.
Nothing remotely like a Preston kit, but harking back to our own away kit from 92/93.
Luton play in tangerine/orange.They wear white shirts and blue or white shorts. We usually where white away kit and tangerine shorts or white shorts. Stan matthews and Morty wore those colours. The blue flecks aren’t part of PNE tradition so the only people who would say “it looks like PNE” are PNE WUMs in my opinion.
Not quite the same as PNE suddenly donning tangerine having never worn it before and their main rivals being the only club in the country that do.
To make money from the sale of a new shirt design that pays its producers a pittance and makes the brand and the club a lot of money.Would Preston put tangerine on a kit, ever? I'll answer for you....no! Why would they?

There are literally dozens of teams in red and or blue. In the flesh so to speak, it looks nothing like a PKE kit.Blue and white is PNE colours, there's blue on the collar and end of the sleeves, regardless of if it looks like a PKE top or not.
Tangerine shorts look weird with it, white would have looked better.
All about opinions. I wouldn't buy one regardless. I just think it's too PKE themed. I'll say it again, PKE would never have tangerine on a top.

They called it "Scarlett", but let's not kid ourselves.Would Everton wear a red away top?
That T is red.
Also, Everton wore red before Liverpool ever did and Liverpool have worn Blue and also used to wear the same colours as Man U.
Take off the blue dashes and the Blackpool badge, what is left could pass as a Preston shirt.
Well, I've yet to find a greengrocer that sells Tangerines in (de)PrestonTangerine is a stand out and more unique colour.
Seen some of them a while back say they wouldn't eat an orange or something like that.
