New Gazette BFC reporter

Good luck to him, but feel that the role isn’t what it used to be.

Club no longer directly communicates with journalists and the Gazette waited until two days before the season to appoint despite Scranton being gone since May, if they cared they would’ve appointed in June to cover Summer window and pre season.

Welcome to the madhouse Amos. Hope you enjoy your time reporting on us and develop a good relationship with BFC. I suggest you ignore some of the arseholery on here. People forget their manners - if they ever had any that is 👍

It’s pathetic really that we now seem to be sharing a BFC reporter with Wigan Worriers and Wigan Athletic. Does anyone actually read the Gazette or the Wigan paper and their websites for anything other than sport?

If I was to offer one piece of advice it would be to look after your knees....No, that's something else. Amos get yourself down to the nearest quarry, pick up a rock and then try and get blood out of it. It's good training for the job.
 
I heard Scrafton’s replacement was in situ but left upon arrival. As for previously reporting on rugby, Scrafton hadn’t done any sports prior, he was ‘news’ and supported Lincoln.

The Daily Mail reporter for Man City wasn’t a City supporter and has done very well for himself!

If he’s good - he’ll be good. It’s a changing World print media so a tricky gig. Good luck to him
 
He'll need to be a lot quicker on the ball than at present. The local paper should be first with news about BFC but if they're not going to publish the 'latest' news until tea time everybody's seen it umpteen times online before then. Totally hopeless.

Surely they have been covering all the transfer news etc.

You can read the Gerrrrrrzette for free online, if you don’t read it and don’t keep updated then no point complaining 😉
 
Just seen his profile picture on twitter. God he looks young. Or is it that I am getting old. Either way good luck to him. He'll need it considering all the stick Scrafters got on here.
