New loan signing Ennis.

Welcome Niall

It's been a very good transfer window imo, with squad players leaving and more quality added
Well done SB and the recruitment team (there I've said it)

5 loan players now, but better than paying inflated January prices.

Looks like I was wrong to criticise the recruitment team in December - very happy to be proved wrong,

Takes a big man to admit past mistakes. Well done mate.

Bench is still pretty light of quality. Need another midfield option but yeah is the end of our business now that it’s a loan.

Pretty confident that Rhodes will go now.
Two forwards on the bench in Ennis and Bees.
Chunk £2.5 million and Sadler sanctions a loan , however he’s an attacking midfielder , Brucey still needs a Tall Forward who can head a ball hopefully that’ll be the Permanent one !

Not sure. I'm still feeling Rhodes may head out and 1 more in . After all , most of us had presumed we would never get Bloxham and that the Ennis deal was dead in the water

Ideally now let Rhodes leave and it’s been a great window, still think the play offs is a step too far but looking good for a real push next season. I know most are loans but the recruitment looking good with maybe a bit more to spend closed season 👍

RIP his contract up goes to Oldham and bags a hat trick on Saturday against Fylde.

It isn't £2.5M though is it?
It's that minus whatever %age sell on to Swansea is.
There’s aparantly add ons for Swansea not disclosed … as he was the make weight for the £4m Jerry Deal , it was reported that could bring it to £4 Million ..However if you remember he was severely injured when he arrived so I guess I agree with the idea that Swansea wanted him off the wage bill… But Sadler will be getting most of that £2.5 .

No issues with it being a loan. We both get to look at each other and we can make a decision in the summer when the market is a little easier.
In theory.
But if he does really well (Simms, Dembele, etc) we would be priced out in summer and lose out to one of the big spenders.
Unless there’s still such a thing as a pre-contract agreement, the type the O’s used successfully on occasion??
