New manager and the loans?

I wonder if the powers that be at Arsenal, City, Liverpool, Leeds etc will be watching closely who we appoint as our next manager. If the style of football isn't to their liking then they could press the recall button....

Would we be too bothered if they did ? All have been a mile off it since end Oct now incl Patino. Plus a new manager will want his own loans. Win/win.

The style can’t really be worse than it has been so I wouldn’t worry about that.

I’d have thought McCarthy as a credible name in the football world won’t put any club off wanting to develop their talent with us.

This is why is makes little sense, Poveda has been class recently, will he be playing alin a MM side?

Maybe he will.

Maybe his style is still effective with bigbguys in yhe right areas and other skillful ones around them.

Still seems an odd one to me though.

So you'd get rid of arguably our four best players at this stage in the season? Crazy!!

I wouldn't be bothered if Patino went back to Arsenal. He's made lots of mistakes in the last few weeks. Williams is poor, and Bridcutt- waste of space.

Poveda should be kept. I just hope Bowler and Rogers can produce the goods.

Agree about Williams but for the guy to suggest we got rid of Poveda, Bowler, Patino & Rogers is just crazy!!

I'd like to see Patino with a bit of cover (Trybull) and better players around him like the resurgent Poveda as well as Bowler & Rogers.

I was talking the long term ones incl Fiorini. Bowler and Rogers have just arrived.
Not really sure we have four best players this season, pretty sure only Patino out of the loans would be one if we did pick four. Don't let Poveda's recent star turn cloud your judgement, between Hudds on early Sept and beginning of Dec, we hardly saw the guy.

I think the loans are safe. Had we have appointed some rookie and it looked like we were heading down they might have got them back. Am surprised we've not sent Fiorini back yet. Let's hope Mick still has a lot of friends in football!
