New manager options

I think we should do a bit of research for once, and look a bit further afield!

For example, QPR have been a shitshow for years, but found this Marti Cifuentes guy who seems to have finally turned them around.
Nobody had ever heard of Ange Postecoglu before Celtic took a chance when he was an unknown in Australia.

Point is, plenty good managers overseas if we just just do a bit of research.

Either that or a young up and coming guy like Ipswich found with Kieran McKenna.
There was a young coach at Man utd we were linked with a year ago?
Plenty options for us if we think outside the box.
Not all up and coming are ok. Ian Foster at Plymouth and even Neil Critchley were in similar jobs to Kieran McKenna.

Football is such a precarious industry and one commodity that is always in short supply is time. Brian B-M is very much in the Simon Sadler mindset a highly rated coach who has developed elite young players at a World class club. Could he transfer that potential and coaching philosophy to a Lg1 club? The fact he has played and managed at lower league clubs gives him an edge but like Critchley he would need to have an experienced assistant to help him out.

At City he is also blessed with being supplied with high calibre young players. He would not have that luxury at Blackpool, he would be reliant on what the club can afford and how good the scouting network is.
Yes time and patience are the watchwords. Fergie at Man U is a prime example.

That said its hard to see where we go from here, we may have improved in critchleys eyes but as a supporter it's been dull as dish water for most of the season, the odd highlight aside. Forest at home 2nd half has been the best I've seen us play, almost like the shackles came off.

Measured progress you can accept, have we had that? I don't know but it doesn't feel like it if the yard stick is entertainment.

He was to everyone in the UK though which is the point.
I doubt SS would have been able to source him. 😃
He’d managed the Australia national team and won the Asian cup and won plaudits at the World Cup before winning the league in Japan. If anything he was a coup for Celtic.
