New Official Site?

Worked OK for me, but thanks to everyone for telling me to look in the spam folder, re-registered, email went straight to spam, marked as OK and there was the link.
 
Can't believe how bad this is !! Instructions are crap. System won't accept any of my current passwords and will not send me a verification code to change password. And no it's not in my junk mail either. Contacted this marketing email and was sent a copy of the very instructions I'd been trying to follow. I'm sick of organisations trying to put everyone on-line and almost refusing to talk to anyone on the phone. We are not all tech-savvy which I know only attracts ridicule form the sometimes smart-arses who are !!
 
So odd it works for some and not others. Apart from the verification in my spam, very smooth even for my dodgy typing
 
Looks like new SSO credentials and back-end. Quite an enhanced profile section, wonder if they're planning to launch a Messageboard too.

EDIT:: My email confirmation did go into SPAM, and the link to verify didn't show up until I moved it back to inbox. The confirmation email needs some work.

The whole point is to link the BFC and Tangerine TV accounts as well as your Ticket Accounts together under a single account.

Surely adding a new account, rather than linking the one you have just defeats the object. All my ticket history would be lost along with the record of my Season Ticket account.
 
Got a message telling me that my password / email was incorrect (it was - it's the one I always use), so clicked on the forgotten password link to receive a reset code, but no code has turned up in my in box, spam folder, anywhere.

I really don't want to set up a new account with an alternative email address and lose my purchase history.

Am I right in thinking that there has been a Blackpool fc log=in/password, and iflollow log-in/password and currently a Tangerine TV log-in/password and maybe even one to buy tickets ? I suspect I'm getting totally confused as to which one I enter to get to this new one. But whatever I input it won't accept and won't send me a code to change password. I've asked someone from the Marketing bods to call me and explain where I'm going wrong.
 
Glad I'm not the only one. my details are saved in my Norton Account and the site has told me the details are incorrect. Still awaiting a code. GRRRR.
 
Yesterday was a bad day for me and it just happened that the announcement of a new requirement to register an account on the official site pushed me over the edge.

I am now making it clear that the change to a single sign-on account is a good one. So no, the Club has not pissed me off in the way I so inelegantly described yesterday.

Same problem for me, it won't send me a verification code, so can't get in?
 
I found the verification email in my spam folder. Tried to click on the verify account area of the email, there's nothing to click on to verify. Sent the mail to my normal folder, to see if it read differently there. Same problem

Tried to log into the site. Accout not verified.

I don't need the site at the moment but I stumped up for nearly every game on Tangerine TV for the last two seasons. This better not be an issue come the start of next season . Will mail the club in a few days if its still not right. Hopefully someone from the club sees this thread.
 
The problem is the way it's set out makes you think just put an new password in and confirm and wait for a code and away you go.

It doesn't you basically have to create a new account from the off like your a newbie and then it's send you a link with a code took me a while to get used to it.
 
Problem with most websites now is they have so much security on that they fail to work for the average Joe!
