New song. TANGERINE DREAM. Thoughts?

Agree with Merry stripes I kept waiting for the bit where the tempo was bumped up, having said that I really like it but found the video a bit cheesy- sorry but just my opinion, different story if you sang it live on the pitch before the game or at half time now that would be brilliant so let’s hope it happens
I reckon that song would be amazing with footage of our goals in playoffs

Lucky thr pitch doesn't look like that currently and must have been filmed a bit ago 🙂

Catchy song though and quite rustic voice.

Not suggesting a full concert on the pitch just one song then cheerleaders, a bit off some bloke making balloon cats & dogs for the kids, then if time an escapologist in a gimp outfit

Anything with a bit of a toon and vocalists who can sing would do me. My history goes from the Beatles to today so not fussy.
 
In fairness, I thought the singer sounded decent, one f the best things about them….The other effort mentioned above ‘Lovers Game’ is a lot better…The lyrics are possibly a bit cheesy / unimaginative perhaps, but apart from that a lot better than the one in the O/P👍
 
I'm a 59 year old sad old fart so my opinion doesn't really count for much. However, I found it very catchy and liked the tune and the vocalist, but like others have said I felt a bit short changed. A couple of more verses explaining what living the tangerine dream meant and a bit of a change in tempo then finishing with the chorus would really add value. I could see/hear it being played on the radio though. Good effort lads
 
Seem to have a few decent voices around the town, remember this one.

I would agree with what a lot have said, a decent effort, but just needs a Chorus, a bit of oomph, to lift the song from its sameness (if that is a word) the chorus would probably be sung in the stands if it had energy. If that makes me a miserable git, so be it, but it is an honest opinion.
 
Not keen on it, but appreciate young bands as they start out, mainly cos I can’t play or sing a note!
Prefer this one, lyrics maybe a bit naive but she was only 16/17 when she wrote it -

I think that depends what their intentions are… If it’s to have some fun then encouragement and kindness are fine, but if they actually want some success, then they need honesty above all else…. Kind words and pleasantries, whilst well intentioned, are thoroughly useless and won’t help them get better.👍
 
Can anything surpass the Nolans? 😀 . Very jolly.
Personally I like the Ellie Robihson song, but all are decent efforts
 
Bloody hell it’s a short kind of catchy song done by some young lads & some on here sound like they watch that X Factor contrived rubbish. I could go into detail on how i think it may have been done better, but equally it may have ruined it completely. Good luck to them & if nothing else I hope they enjoy performing, because that’s the main thing. The music industry is a lottery as I’ve seen many brilliant bands & singer songwriters who have gone under the radar of massive fame & fortune. Plus some terrible unimaginative ones who are regarded as top bands.
 
I thought it was a good effort, decent vocalist, needs a bit of a repetitive guitar riff throughout and a middle 8 imo..catchy though👍
 
Good luck to them, not easy writing and performing songs all the Simon Cowell wannabes on here should take note
 
Yeah I was hoping it'd break out into a black metal banger as well.

I think it is very good , though I think the lead singer thinks he is in Oasis .

Anybody can benefit from encouragement. Not many people take encouragement from being told they're a pile of sh*t.
 
I liked it, but also felt it just needed a little kick on toward the end, but great effort and a good video 👍
 
Group of young lads getting together putting a lot of effort in and making some music .

It's absolutely fantastic and should be applauded.

At least they are doing something not just sat behind a keyboard on their bedrooms critiscing people.
 
It’s fair to say that as a teenager or early 20a lad in a band, I wouldn’t have given a feck what my dad thought of our music and certainly not what my grandad or grandma thought.
In fact it would have been a bonus if they hated it 😂
 
Just heard this now,it came up in my recommended. Im assuming theyre a newish band,if so thats a very solid effort.

Im going to check out a few of their other songs now,they reminded me of a Sheffield band called Kartica from around ten/ifteen years ago.
