All those millions and lose to Bournemouth. Sick of all this Toon crap. The press seem to love them. Is Eddie Howe a fraud?
 
Don't think Howe is a fraud but I also wouldn't consider a lot of their very expensive signings as wow players at all. I see them as a 11th -7th placed squad.
 
Just got back from Bolton to find my two granddaughters in the front room with Newcastle tops on. I suppose that is where we live. I could bear it if it was Sunderland but they have crossed a line.
 
Big fanbase but for a so called massive club not to have won a single domestic trophy for 67 years is unbelievable
 
Howe has done well in my view and the things that stand out in that Newcastle team are the things you get on the training ground. The pressing, the work ethic and the togetherness. Certainly don’t think their progress has been significantly down to spending and buying ready made players.

Howe deserves a lot of credit and it would be ideal if he was available when England and Southgate part ways.

Howe is ok I’d take him over Southgate.
As for Newcastle he’s in a similar bracket to Mark Hughes before Mancini took over. Although I’d rate him higher than Hughes.
Has he got it to take them to the next level, not in my opinion.
12/18 months and they’ll move him on and bring a older established manager in.
I hope not I enjoy watching them get stuffed and then harp on about injuries.

In comparison to massive clubs they are nowhere near.
There are 6 clubs immediately in the premier who have a bigger global fan base than that lot.
Home support great and mostly local but that’s as far as they go.
