……. hasn’t it? Critchley seems out of his depth again similar to when Simon had to bring Calderwood in to help.
Not forgetting McCall after him.……. hasn’t it? Critchley seems out of his depth again similar to when Simon had to bring Calderwood in to help.
Was more referencing Calderwood cos it was in similar circumstances in league 1 McCall was definitely a big loss as well. Not forgetting McCall after him.
Agreed. Thommo pleaseWhy not approach Thommo? Good enough for Holloway…
Aren’t they coaching assistants? He needs a number 2/assistant manager in my opinionHasn't he got two assistants already Garrity and Brunskill ?
I dont think SS will act so quickly . Calderwood was brought in late October. He might not give it til then this time but I don't reckon its imminent. He's right not to knee jerk this.
How Colin Calderwood played an 'invaluable' role in Blackpool's promotion success
Seasiders were 18th when Calderwood was drafted in as Critchley's 'assistant head coach' at Bloomfield Roadwww.northamptonchron.co.uk
What's he like a football mentoring etc. results suggest not great. He has a number 2 with Brunskill, who seems like a pretty tough bloke.

Exactly mate
He should never have been appointed without one. Surely whoever oversees these things would have seen what happened last time.Aren’t they coaching assistants? He needs a number 2/assistant manager in my opinion
Thommo would be here if Dobbie had got the job.Why not approach Thommo? Good enough for Holloway…
They are in the same role as Assistant Managers. Critch describes himself as Head Coach.Exactly mate
Yep and I've heard from an impeccable source that this is a fact. SD made the call to Thommo to ask him to be his no2 if he gets the job.Thommo would be here if Dobbie had got the job.
Jobs for his mates.
If it is a weird experiment, it definitely doesn't look like a tried and tested method, then he'll be out of another job by 2024.This is my take. Critchley got lucky when we were promoted, he then kept us up, fair play. He then went to Villa, poor. He then went to QPR, even worse, so desperate to be employed, we took pity on him. I hate his style of football, in fact, it isn’t a style, it’s some weird classroom tactical experiment.
As far as I’m concerned, he can go now unless he sees the light and starts playing aggressive, pressing, attacking, attractive football.
Don’t tell me he doesn’t have the players to do that, he does, he just wants to continue his ridiculous experiment.
Hang on a second - critch never played Jerry, he put him on the bench most of the time - football geniusNo, we don't let Cricth manage and give him the players to replace the creativity and goal threat we lost with Bowler, Anderson, and Yates leaving. before the transfer window closes. If at Christmas we are near the bottom and playing badly then we should replace Critch and both his assistants.

Just ** let it go.Thommo would be here if Dobbie had got the job.
I agree tbh. Now I've calmed down! Same old knee jerk on here, "its obvious from row H what Sadler needs to do!"The only thing he needs right now is a bit of patience from the fans and some support with bringing in players.
The OTT reaction from some is beyond pathetic.
What do you think after tonight thenI agree tbh. Now I've calmed down! Same old knee jerk on here, "its obvious from row H what Sadler needs to do!"
5 games.
I did cautiously predict 8 points from the first 5 so 6 is bloody underwhelming! But it's 5 games.
I dont think tonight is a reason to change my position. We could have done without an away game at a Prem club. What do you think after tonight then
called for him to get the sack, I think he needs a management assistantI dont think tonight is a reason to change my position. We could have done without an away game at a Prem club.
I've been very critical of Critch lately and things are not great but it's far too soon to twist again. He needs some attacking ammunition. And not a witch hunt.
I know, lots of people do. That may be right, or we may need better players in certain positions and some confidence.I’ve never

And a formation that the players we have can play to with confidence…… it would be a 4-4-2 for me every timeI know, lots of people do. That may be right, or we may need better players in certain positions and some confidence.
We'll you are entitled to your opinion. You may be right. But we need more threat up front before anything will really work, in my opinion. And a formation that the players we have can play to with confidence…… it would be a 4-4-2 for me every time
Don’t disagree mate, things certainly need shaking up don’t theyWe'll you are entitled to your opinion. You may be right. But we need more threat up front before anything will really work, in my opinion.
