Next appointment has got to be an assistant or number 2…….

No, we don't let Cricth manage and give him the players to replace the creativity and goal threat we lost with Bowler, Anderson, and Yates leaving. before the transfer window closes. If at Christmas we are near the bottom and playing badly then we should replace Critch and both his assistants.

Hasn't he got two assistants already Garrity and Brunskill ?

I dont think SS will act so quickly . Calderwood was brought in late October. He might not give it til then this time but I don't reckon its imminent. He's right not to knee jerk this.

Aren’t they coaching assistants? He needs a number 2/assistant manager in my opinion

Neil Critchley is head coach
Mike Garrity is Assistant head coach
Iain Brunskill is Assistant head coach

So where do you fit another person and what would be his title

Sadler said something along the lines of Dobbie wanted to revert back Development Squad manager when NC was appointed.
That suggested that he had been offered up as a no 2/3.

Tbh there’s no way Critch /Dobbie combo would have worked plus every manager wants his own assistants if poss

He does need that, but by needing that it basically shows he shouldn't be a manager at all, he's a coach and not a great one. If you're going to get an experienced assistant in, make him manager and have Dobbie beside him. I wish Quitch would fuck off.

This is my take. Critchley got lucky when we were promoted, he then kept us up, fair play. He then went to Villa, poor. He then went to QPR, even worse, so desperate to be employed, we took pity on him. I hate his style of football, in fact, it isn’t a style, it’s some weird classroom tactical experiment.

As far as I’m concerned, he can go now unless he sees the light and starts playing aggressive, pressing, attacking, attractive football.

Don’t tell me he doesn’t have the players to do that, he does, he just wants to continue his ridiculous experiment.

If it is a weird experiment, it definitely doesn't look like a tried and tested method, then he'll be out of another job by 2024.
I'm hoping for a good week regarding transfers and a bolder approach where we look to win games not avoid defeat and nick points.

Hang on a second - critch never played Jerry, he put him on the bench most of the time - football genius

The only thing he needs right now is a bit of patience from the fans and some support with bringing in players.

The OTT reaction from some is beyond pathetic.
I agree tbh. Now I've calmed down! Same old knee jerk on here, "its obvious from row H what Sadler needs to do!"

5 games.

I did cautiously predict 8 points from the first 5 so 6 is bloody underwhelming! But it's 5 games.

It’s a toss up between a new number two or another cull..think we have to give the manager 15 games but if there is no improvement soon then he is bang under the cosh

What do you think after tonight then 🤔🙄
I dont think tonight is a reason to change my position. We could have done without an away game at a Prem club.

I've been very critical of Critch lately and things are not great but it's far too soon to twist again. He needs some attacking ammunition. And not a witch hunt.

I’ve never

called for him to get the sack, I think he needs a management assistant

And a formation that the players we have can play to with confidence…… it would be a 4-4-2 for me every time
We'll you are entitled to your opinion. You may be right. But we need more threat up front before anything will really work, in my opinion.

A Critch hunt
