Next manager.. Interesting article on Pete Wild at barrow.

It is a well researched and informative article. Doesn't the photo of the writer make him look about 15. Perhaps he is!
What's weird is he's absolutely massive when you see him with other people. Like, basketball player big...

How often is he seen with other people? Is he a massive loner? Is that what we need, to dig us out of this massive hole? Critch was tiny, and seemed quite gregarious.

What's the strategy?

Interesting to note that one of his previous jobs was managing the England amputee football team. Might be useful experience dealing with some of our crocks…

When we played Barrow at home last August in the Carabao Cup they were very difficult to break down and they looked a decent side too, thats the game when the boos started first ringing out from the North. I sensed it was going to be a tough season!

In 30 of Barrow’s 41 league games this season, they’ve played either a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, with only minor practical differences between those two formations.
Why does no one play a good old fashioned 4-4-2 anymore? Am sure there is rhyme and reason to these other formations but I love two wide men, two up top and a defensive and attacking midfielder in front of a conventional back four with the wide men overlapping.
