Next Structured Dialogue Meeting With BFC

Steve,I’ll be turning up whatever so you can put my name on the guest list or employ another 50 security....the ball is in your court
Ain’t had any response yet so I will take it that I am invited Steve...thanks and see you there cheers

if any clown tries to say I ain’t invited then I will refer them to you

The problem with those type of events is that little is achieved but I can see the value of having one per season
Yep, utterly pointless show of pretending to listen is I assume what you are saying Tim......waste of time...

fans want decent winning football, to be able to get a pie and pint pre match and at half time quickly .......crack that and no one moans about anything else ......simple as that .....and all the bullshit “fans” events will never change that ...it’s a distraction, it’s sleight of hand. And only fools fall for it

why are we keeping it as clique?

why cant we have a fans forumn where all fans are recongnised as equal and allowed to attend?

These groups no longer represent the majority of the fan base and most are unelected or represent a couple of dozen people at best

Perhaps I should form the Stanah supporters club and get an invite every time!
You’re wasting your time Stanah. It’s a closed shop representing the minority.

Bisons, cos it’s a stitch up bit of cosmetic window dressing .....get the club winning...that should be the main drive of everything and sort the infrastructure as a matter of course....not just sort the infrastructure and expect a pat on the back

"BRR. You have made specific claims about the EFL which are incorrect so I'm sorry but you have to pulled up on that"

I told you what happened in meetings that I attended. You weren't there.

"where its beholden upon you as part of BST to engage truthfully with the clubs fans. "

I have represented BST at some meetings, but I am just a Member like everyone else. I have explained what SD is supposed to be about and why the EFL think it important. Where I was offering an opinion, I said so.

"Your engagement with other fans on this thread seems to be rather reactionary and inflammatory ,which gives rise to the accusations of passive bullying."

Bollocks. (There, that IS reactionary). One or two posters were suggesting that this was a case of the SLO running a meeting for him and his friends. Nothing could be further from the truth, and you know that as well as I do. Why aren't you calling them out? Being a bit selective?

"Try playing a straight bat and stop being a clever clogs and you might find people will be more reasonable, where its fair for fans to question the integrity of the representation with the club if they so desire."

People can question whatever they like. Equally, I can challenge their views with my own. And I would never wear clogs whilst batting, in case it it inhibited my ability to move my feet (bit of Geoffrey Boycott for you),

"The Football Supporters Association and BST do not own the rights on democratic representation."

I never suggested that they did. And you need to make your mind up - it's not many hours ago you were praising BST for being the benchmark that other Trusts should aspire to. Or had you forgotten?

I'd have a lot more respect for you if you actually challenged all aspects of the process, rather than those which are Trust-related, and which you obviously have a bee in your bonnet about. Which is far more about your experiences with Leeds United than anything else.

Whether you like it or not, at Blackpool the Trust is the ONLY fans group with a democratic mandate, accompanied by published goals and a Constitution. It would be perverse if they were not at these meetings. As for other groups, it is not always possible to even say who they are, let alone who they actually represent. But the club makes an effort to reach out to them, and I would have thought you would commend their efforts, given your general views about minority and affiliate groups.

The trouble with you is that in your anxiety to play the man rather than the ball, you don't stop to think about the absolute cobblers you are coming out with. And that is the inflammatory bit. 😎
Boring.

BASIL has a constitution, it was a pre-requisite for joining APFSCIL.

Good use of "sanguine" and "per se", and if that is true about BSA I stand corrected. I've never been a Member, so I wouldn't know. Do they have published goals and a Constitution?

Re the FSA : I don't really understand your obsession with them, but it has nothing to do with me.

As for "inverted snobbery", "superciliousness" et al, I've filed it with the rest of the bollocks in my "Leeds United - Miscellaneous" file.

* hears call of "no ball" , takes fresh guard *
Not the first time you've been stumped,I mean stood corrected. In the meantime -as pointed out by the Yarkshire Seasiders (Bradford delegate) - the charge of superciliousness still stands-unlike your're middle stump

*taps at crease and points towards the pavilion*

Edit;and now BASIL who you've overlooked. Makes a change to see your cards marked by them (smiley)

Have as many meetings as you want, big wow!.......but get the team winning and everything falls into place because you get a crowd well beyond the “diehards” and you make more income and you can afford better players and you get promoted and make more income because more people attend and ticket prices are up and corporate earns more and you can pay for even better players etc..........all the meetings in the World wont make one shite of difference unless that is the sole aim...it’s a football Club!.....it needs fans to attend, pay for tickets/season tickets and they don’t attend because of meetings being held

That is something we all want .👍

Ste,I know it starts at 7pm but I’ll be in at 5.30pm and would like a nice bottle of Bubbly on ice with two glasses on my table by then please with a bottle of Vodka, ice bucket and plenty of coke on the side.....don’t worry, you’ll get a “drink” if it’s all satisfactory son 👍

Well Good Luck...If you do get in, can you ask Simon Sadler if he can stock Rolo's at the food kiosks please 👍
We need the Rolo’s and the Curly Wurlys yes, agreed...but I feel we also need ....colouring books for young fans and “safe spaces“ for vulnerable fans and those two amongst other similar initiatives will certainly both bring the crowds back big time 👍

And Wagon Wheels...I forgot Wagon Wheels....And ask him how he's getting on with the Pints that pour from the bottom and whether they could change the bog roll for something a bit softer....I'd do it myself, but I can't be arsed*👍

*That's just me trying to save face because I don't have the connections to swing myself on the Guest List

Daz, you are a respected “Face” but I have leverage as I have the negatives of Ste with Ozzy Osbourne circa 1974 Wolverhampton 👀

So to re-cap. There are many Blackpool fans groups that actually DO have a proper constitution and meet 'the criteria',despite some people erroneously and perhaps malevolently saying otherwise?

There used to be a Roman fort in Clifton** that had chariot racing and gladiator sword fighting at one point,so perhaps they had a committee too that organised that? What indeed did the Romans do for 'us'?

*huge tap on the keepnet*

**upon reflection it was probably on the site of the old Tyldesley school.
