I am going to Birmingham as well. Seen them already in Lancaster and Scarborough this year. They are getting better and better each year. Nearly going 40 years now.
 
Pavement and Sonic Youth - both on my "must check them out" list that I'll probably never get round to checking out. Both good songs 👍

Mogwai one of my favourite bands. Ever seen them live? Hypnotic and deafening in equal measure.

Had these on before.

Daydream Nation (especially) or Goo are, imo, the places to hear Sonic Youth at their best. And their best is pretty fuckin' spectacular. The recent Kim Gordon album is pretty decent in terms of what they are up to these days.

Yes, I've seen mogwai. Mogwai: tremendous. They're probably the only band from my youth I still listen to their new stuff with intent if that makes sense. I love them deeply and dearly. C.O.D.Y is possibly my favourite record, if it was possible to actually have a single favourite record.


I liked that track. It reminded me something I couldn't put my finger on.
