NO Rhodes on Saturday

Rhodes missed a pen ,then a sitter in the next match. It's not the end of the world without him ,but as we are getting no shots on target ,the strikers we have need better service.

Dembele is outstanding… Lavery is decent enough when fully fit, Beesley has looked better this season in spells and both Joseph and Kouassi have the potential to be top quality and will improve with time.
Dembele will probably be benched like last two games. Lavery benched like last few games. Beesley just back from injury. Joseph not got any scoring boots. Kouassi not good enough he was brought in for the development squad and I can see why

I’m ok with him just doing what pretty much every other football manager in the history of football does tbh.
I think too many of our fans aren't grasping that what he says to the press and what he tells the players aren't necessarily the same thing. There's no point giving them more incentive by calling them crap. As for our players reading social media, having seen them try to play football, I would guess some struggle with any word that has more than 5 letters it. 😉

Incredible he constantly praises the opposition. It's a horrific mentality. You can say they are good but the lavish praise he gives is pathetic.

He needs to go.
Bolton are in a much better position with a stronger squad and team, I don't think that can be denied so he's not making anything up.

And it's just standard contractually obliged pre-match waffle that all managers don't want to be involved in but have to.

It's the recovery and prep since Tuesday night and then what happens between 3-5pm tomorrow that counts.

So Lavery , dembele , Casey , Pennington all benched then lol

He said the same about ** Cheltenham.

Lavery started last Saturday.

If he could get away with doing a recording at the start of the season and leave gaps for the media lads to drop the names in then I'm sure he, and every other manager, would.

It's the actual match against Cheltenham that is the stick to beat with.
No, it's a mentality thing. He spends too much of his time setting up to stop the opposition.

The same fans who would be accusing him of complacency if he came out and said Bolton are shite and in a false position. In fact they'd be harrumphing, 20 points better than us, type comments.

Well yes that's how he was trained up for the job by the FA and we know that already for the last four years now. He's a method coach and that is his method. But we can't do anything about Simon Sadler having the worlds smallest managerial contacts book.

Whatever Critchley tells the players, his selection and tactics bring inconsistency.

It must be Richie Wellens or Darryl Clarke or Pete Wild next.

Play Joseph down the middle, he might get goals, the lad isn't a winger. It's similar to Appleton playing Yates and Lavery on the wings last season.
