Don't know whether it's been posted, but Preston now selling tickets for this £5.00. Be interesting to see how nany they sell after their bitching

I'm surprised they're allowed to do this. If I was ifollow and own the rights, and selling this game at £10, I'd be unhappy if someone was selling it for £5!! Perhaps pne are subsidising the difference? Generous of a Board not known for its generosity 🙂

I’ve heard on good authority that all the pool fans that can’t get tickets for the match (circa 5000) are all buying tickets for this.
Will there be segregation and will we get our full allocation.

Haha "beam back" they're really into us aren't they?.

Considering how lifeless their season is shaping up to be this is by far the highlight of their season, where as we are excited to be playing a lot of these clubs again and looking like we have nothing to fear.

The rights are not sold for £10 in the UK though, they are not sold at all.

Eh?? I'm saying if you are a nobber watching at home it's £10, paid to ifollow (they've shelled out for broadcasting rights). If there's a big screen at Deepdale, those very same people are paying £5 to pne instead!
If you're ifollow you're pretty peeved. I'd imagine that's not going to be allowed

Doesn’t the club own the right this year with pulling out of ifollow?!

It would be amazing they could exercise an option to pull the live coverage for non Tangerine TV subscribers.

No. As a Saturday game, there is no legal coverage. Seasideone is correct.

Although I suppose it still begs the question (if matches can be watched abroad) somebody somewhere owns the rights? It doesn't matter to me of course, I just think it'd be funny if somebody pulled the plug on Preston being able to watch this at Deepdale. 👍
I love the taste of nobbers' tears and I'm getting thirsty hahaha 🧡

I don't think iFollow has any "rights" as such, that's just the EFL platform for streaming, so if the EFL allow a match to be streamed, that's the default mechanism. Teams that have opted out for their own custom service follow the same rules. So TangerineTV coverage of away games is usually the home team's iFollow stream. And way teams iFollow service from Bloomfield Road will be out TangerineTV feed.
EFL will be happy for the "beam-back" (LOL) because the ground is full so they are not losing revenue for their percentage of the gate, and there is no other legal way of accessing it.

Wonder if BFC are already planning something similar for the away game bearing in mind they are bound to go tit for tat with ticket sales.

Huge difference at Deepdale is that the away end is one big stand that holds 5k (ish) - they can't split it up. So they either give us all of it or lose out on revenue. Their decision. If I was them, I'd give us all of it in the hope that we don't sell out, to give them something to gave a go at us about. 😉

I don't think they will. They won't sell out, so there's no need to restrict sales.

The Anfield Legend Kop holds 6k but the most they give us is 5.5k leaving the seats in each bottom corner empty for segregation.

It can be split and was the time we won 0-1 with Wes taking THAT penalty!😆

We had just over 3000 that day, with a couple of thousand sad Nobbers to our right.

Wasn't that temoprarily when the rest was being rebuilt though, so they had limited capacity in other areas? Pretty sure I read that they're not geared up to split that stand any more.

I hope not. Stinks of an amateur tin pot club. Embarrassing that they’re doing it if you ask me.
