I think they might genuinely be in trouble.

It's clear their owner has no ambition and if the rumours are true he's attempting to cut his losses. That's reflected in the terrible business they've been doing the last few windows and this one looks to be the same. The manager they've appointed was the no.2 of the bloke they sacked, he turned them round a bit at the end of last season but how much of that was new manager bounce? We had an upturn in results after Grayson under David Dunn, but how well would he have done if we'd appointed him full time for the season just gone?

I think they're facing another mid-table season at best.
