I realise this might be clutching at straws but could we not perhaps make an approach to American actor Peter Wellar (aka RoboCop), maybe entice him out of retirement, and see if he would be prepared to help out in BFC's moment of need? Because if memory serves, I seem to recall he made what was nothing short of a miraculous recovery as an American cop who had sustained appalling injuries whilst on duty in the 1987 film of the same name, and so, all these years on, if he could demonstrate a similar transition to that which he went through on RoboCop, I don't see why he couldn't be persuaded to encourage some of our injured midfielders to follow his example.
