North Stand sold out

No way will they sell 2500 tickets and who in the Championship is charging significantly less than £27?

F - 18 Seats
H - 188 Seats
J - 66 Seats
K - 2 Seats
L - 10 Seats
M - 33 Seats
N - 15 Seats
P - 27 Seats
Q - 312 Seats
R - 114 Seats
S - 119 Seats
T - 106 Seats
U - 71 Seats
V - 37 Seats
W - 152 Seats
X - 291 Seats

There are 1561 home seats left.
So given the 3 sides excluding hospitality holds 10,519.

Minus off the 190 not available 2 front rows for the North...

10,329 -1561 = 8768

Should be over 9k with hospitality and can hold nearly 738, but we've had no update and no idea how popular that'll be.

We have had late buying and walk ons in the past but we've just no way of knowing how the floating fans will take to the game, the price, circumstances left by covid etc. I really hope they do come.

One thing I said last season about getting promotion without crowds was we had no bumper crowds that builds the fanbase. Normally the playoff game at home would be full and the feelgood factor from that and a full Wembley gets people more excited to come next season, sadly that was lost.

But still, id expect things to ramp up towards the game and how much more demand there is at this stage is anyones guess.

Most people outside of our ST holders haven't been able to go for a while, toid think it would be popular, bit we have seen lesser numbers at lost of clubs.

Well see how our fanbase in this climate, but with the club doing well and being much more professional is in the next few days.

Just shows that pool fans paying 28 or 30 walk on for a town such as ours in this climate is ridiculous. Where is the 20 is plenty brigade? This is where I think our board have badly misjudged it especially for this game which is cat a, but not even a cat a game imo, cat b is ok pricing and cat c is good but even Coventry on a Tuesday isn't cat c, so begs the question what is.

Nobbers away

Only pne and rovers should be Cat a for me, you could maybe argue against the bigger ex prem sides to a degree.

Personally I think 2 categories would have been enough, cat c for the lesser games and cat b prices for the bigger ones.

Would have been fair for our area imo.
Just having a laugh 👍🍊⚽

Never seen them bring more than about 750 in the past but these are exceptional circumstances so maybe they will, hope so, money in the bank for BFC so it's a good thing.
Well I expect them to sell out....it’s August on a Saturday not November on a Tuesday night.

Hope they don’t let them out at the end until we’ve had a chance to leave.Coming out of the South heading away from the “sea” can get a bit tasty if not nasty and they weren’t much ”friendlier” than Wet Spam were at Wembley.

What a great incentive Coventry did...£299 and a free Home Shirt...Great idea.
Coventry have just moved back into the Ricoh and need to re-engage with the fans who have been staying away. Different circumstances.

Plus, wasn't it them who had to completely sell out to break even?

Not

not really....I think every club is desperate to get fans through the turn styles because of the covid pandemic.

Those 3 were my STs. Moved to a different block for Saturday so could buy one extra and sit together. Steady trickle in the ticket office buying tickets for both tomorrow and Saturday from what I could tell.

It was worse than that, wasn't it? Sure I read somewhere that their break even was about 4,000 more than the ground actually holds. As you say, completely different.

Season ticket holders moving so they can sit with mates. Weird, as you bought your season ticket to sit in that particular spot, but there you go. No effect on the actual attendance
How do you know? So people moving out of the north? Seems unlikely.

Its odd 1 minute was sold out the next multiple appeared over all the north. With people moving you'd expect 1 or 2 here n there not as many as we've seen come back on.

Read further up the thread where someone said they moved to sit with a mate

I moved so my Mrs could come with us. It will usually be just me and my boys but she wants to come on Saturday. No issue moving out of the North for one game especially given the ages of my boys. Actually been considering moving our STs in case of people standing in front of them but took so long to decide options became limited 🤣

Just been on the online seat selector for the Cardiff match and it doesn't show which seats are free or allow you to select a seat

It's working ok for me.
Now showing 26 seats available in the North. So looks like they've processed some cancellations or moves. Seems quite a lot in one go scattered across the stand though.
Think it shows that we can't really accurately tell sales based on online availability.

I do think the club could maybe of done more advertising for the game, not seen or heard any advertising for the game to try and get another thousand fans in.
But then again is paying for adverts worth the extra people in attendance with the cost?

Could have spent £500 on a facebook sponsored post and it would have ended up on most peoples feeds. I have suggested this in SD meetings but I haven't seen any yet so not sure what they will do with this.

Without counting, there looks to be less than 200 seats left in Blocks A-P.
Q and X still have plenty of availabilty and front few rows in South Stand.

Is this thread correct? Has the North sold out? Every time I go on the seat checker on the website, different seats appear here and there.

Just had to move our seats from the North to some very average ones in the South as my Dad and his brother both want to come. Bloody part timers!

Does anyone know what the rectangle section's of seats are removed from block Q and also a smaller one in block X. Giveaways? Sponsor's seats? Group buys... seems less likely....

Theres prob 80 in Q and a smaller one in X that are greyed out. Wonder what they are or why...

@HaighyBfc @TTractor

Most Clubs check their fixture list to see if they’re at Pool in either August or Sept. They come up for the weekend.

I wasn't sure you were referring to the tunnels, hence the lack of a sarcy comment to go with it 😀
Maybe they have held these tickets for walk on fans.
Otherwise 2 persons( one booking online) may reserve the same seat.
Being in the hospitality trade, this was often a nightmare when a person off the street booked a room only to find out that coincidentally someone online had booked at same time.

Could be, but how many purchase online on the day. Seemed more likely giveaways or sponsors or something else.

But you may be right.

Either way was only about 80 in one and maybe less in the other.

The mighty K stand has sold out... Come in K stand... Most other seat have sold round to the family and south stand is a let down.
