Getting good coments so far although it sounded like he had a bit of a mare last time out. Looks physically solid.

He's playing on the right-hand side of a back 3.
Jordan Thompson is still falling over regularly.
 
Well at least we didn't sign the experienced Maguire.
We could still utilise our attacking FBs with a back 3.

Two left footed wing backs?
 
NI just conceded from a corner. Ballard dived under it a bit rashly. Not got commentary on so not sure if the experts are blaming him.
 
Ballard could be a cracking signing for us. Can play the ball out from the back, good in the tackel, very good in the air, decent pace and positional play. He has been playing against one of the best strikers in the world and hasn't really looked out of his depth. I'm was impressed by him tbh.
 
I've not watched the game in too much detail but from what I saw in the first half I thought he was being well looked after by Evans and was following him very closely.
He looks brave and strong but was reckless in defending the corner that led to the goal.
I heard the comentator say he was released by Arsenal at 18 then recalled, played a blinder and got a contract.
 
I thought he did ok. I only watched the second half. He ducked and closed his eyes for the corner that came in for the goal, I think Haaland stepped into him last minute and it caused him to misjudge the ball. He was certainly involved a lot mainly down to Northern Ireland not getting forwards much.
