Not a goodbye...

He ll play on Wednesday

Go past t’rovers defenders as if they weren’t there score a worldly couple of assists all in front of the telly

Then some proper bids might come in for him instead of these daft 2.5 million ones because he’s worth so much more

Semenyo is being touted at 12 million and josh is as good

Dwight McNeill went for 20 million, Bowler is better in my opinion and also the opinion of Burnley fans I know. Unfortunately for BFC the contract favours the player, at a push we might get 4 million and a good sell on clause.

I've seen £20m quoted in an article today for Semenyo. Absolutely stupid money imo, but it does put the Bowler situation into context. Would be a snip at anything less than £5m so we shouldn't be railroaded into a sale.

I would love to keep him for the season, if he stayed fit you never know, we could make the play offs, he’s on another planet at times and he’s getting better every match.

Sublime skills and a joy to watch.
Can anyone name a more exciting crowd pleaser in the Championship?
Sadly he will be leaving more than likely unless SS just writes any fee off or risks getting something for him in January.
Anything less than £5m would be a steal though unless we get a hefty sell on clause.

According to todays paper, Forest have bid 3m and we want 4.

We really need to hold our nerve here. Forest have been splashing the cash with other clubs but when it comes to us they want quality on the cheap because they think we're worried about him leaving on a free next summer. Sorry but no, £4m is still an absolute steal and easily affordable for them. We need to stick to our guns, if they want him pay the £4m. Holding out for what we want is not only good for the here and now, but is absolutely essential for future transfer negotiations. Currently I think the football world see us as a soft touch, and we must shake that reputation off if we're to make any kind of progress in this league.

He’s not even a gamble at that price for a Prem team. You’d pay £4m even just for him to warm the bench ready for a game when you’ve tried everything and you think “sod it, let Josh have a dribble at them, it might work”?

I’m stunned he didn’t go early this summer.

Better that he goes for something than leave on a Bosman at the end of the season. Corbeneau and Poveda - plus the two injured lads should provide enough pace and talent. Christ we need it. The squad has all the desire and commitment in the world - we just need a bit more quality to go with the effort. MA is doing a good job IMO.
Maybe Bowler could be bundled up into a BOGOF deal with CJ or one of the others 😉

Bowler has less than a year left on his contract, he won’t sign a new contract at Blackpool so I can fully understand why the Club will sell him for £3M to £4M in this transfer window rather than lose him for nothing next year. For a Championship Club like Blackpool with 8500 STHs, £3M to £4M is a lot of money, if Blackpool sell Bowler we may even break our transfer record fee and sign a player costing more than £1.25M.

£5m plus one of the Florist promotion winning players, who now can't get near to the match day squad, as they've signed 15+ players

A triple Villa bid for Josh, Marv and Grimmy- would you take £25 million in total?
It would severely disrupt the team in the short term, but yes, as that would be good business for the club and replacements would be lined up.
I'm a believer in Max at this level & those who regularly watch Stuart Moore, show great faith in him.

If Bowler stayed until the end of the season and continued his good form not only would it be great for the club but not having a fee to pay for him could make him a millionaire overnight with a signing on fee.
Even better but wishful thinking would be he continues his brilliant form and signs another contract to make sure the club makes a shit load of money when a BIG Premier club comes knocking on the door.
