Lets just clarify what it is that I'm not impressed by.
Was it yesterday's 4-1 dismal home drubbing? Nope.
Could it be the bullying swagger of the Prem. League's stultifying elite paying everyone off so the pot is theirs and theirs alone? Nope
Its not even the stateside Trump ing of tbe orange one that he's inmune from covid and probably every other disease known to man.
Its merely, the overuse of the word press, to press, high pressing, pressed, when used in a footballing sense. I know we've been guilty of referring to Critchleys high pressing game but now its beginning to really irk and irritate me. Its lazy commentating and mostly meaningless.
Give me footballing classics like bombing forward, surging down the wing, bursting through the static midfield or just plain attack, attack attack you know, proper evocative phrases. Long post on a meaningless subject but I do feel much better now
