PNE apparently requesting to play their first league fixture of the season away so they can let Liverpool use Deepdale to play a pre season friendly against other opposition 2 days before the start of the Championship season. With the prospect of maybe being drawn at home in the Carabao Cup they don't want the pitch used 3 times in a few days .
So if agreed we have the prospect of EFL fixtures changed so a premier league club can play a friendly on your ground against other opposition.
They must be desperate for money to be used like that by another club.

Are all the proceeds going to you? Some of your fans suggesting that's not that case and it might be a hiring fee or whatever.

I dont think he would tbh. Hes stopped the concerts and the rugby league thing to protect the pitch.

My one mate from Preston supports Liverpool so maybe that explains it. 😆
 
No I don’t think SS would for the reasons above.

The EFL should refuse!

…and then no doubt the fixture computer will put Preston away 😉

They want to use Dumpdale so that the Liverpool supporters feel at home in a slum

Was gonna say that. At least it will be full. They might need a team of volunteers to clean some of the many thousands of unused seats. A lot of them will be pristine under the layers of dust.
 
Look guys, stop being so bloody harsh! If PKE want to watch any form of football involving a Premier League team at Dumpdale, this has to be the answer!

Obviously their one jammy Cup draw of the season isn’t enough for them!
 
You lot are obsessed with all things PNE. I presume that LFC approached BFC first. You've just been relegated yet you can't ignore what's happening at Deepdale. There are even several posters on here who think that BFC is in a better situation than PNE. You're third tier, but you'll bounce straight back no doubt.

The only highlight of this season were the loan players.....and I doubt you will see any of them next season.
Next season is the last one that Mr Hemmings will have to put £16m into the club.....Because after 2023/2024 you have to be self financing
A lot of your own fans want Agent Ridsdale out.......I want him to stay and really see the job done once and for all.
A lot of your own fans want the Lowecommotion to just finish and get out of the club.....I can see him leaving for Plymouth as the assistant manager

I see the first line of the enemy is back Sargent Major big gob and no balls (why do we put up with this little prick all the time just ** ban the Cxxt) he is just a Wum everyone on this forum can see this ,why not the mods ,lets start the pre season and after with a positive move treat the pne online scum mods in the same way they treat our supporters time for some bollocks off the mods before the rest of the wums start again aka enjoy life in league one little club with no fans we all know they will start with this as soon as the season nears the start 😖.

A grown adult typing out “Bombsite Road” gets me every time too.
 
Any request to alter fixtures has to be submitted in March so police can be consulted. It's now dependent on us being able to host a home game first and as it's holiday season the cops might not do it. Shame if we cock up their little money grabbing exercise

Ok…..you’re a top European side asked to play Liverpool away……oh but it will be at Preston not Anfield…..that should go down well with the travelling support.

Mind you in fairness the away end at Dumpdale is better than the one at Anfield which is embarrassing and only Everton in the Premier have a worse one( until Luton arrived😉)

As for Norfolk and Dolly it never senses to amaze me that they are always on here……they clearly have nothing much else in their lives.
