After seeing all the positives from what is a brand new squad with a brand new manager, then coming on here and seeing nothing but doom and gloom.
I know I’m not the only one who thinks this way. I’m sure there’ll be plenty on here who agree but also a fair share of those who won’t.
It has been mostly individual mistakes that have cost us games, mostly in defence. I don’t for one second believe that our tactics don’t work. We have been the better team in most games.
Admittedly, we need to take our chances better but as soon as we click with that, I feel sorry for the team we are playing because we are going to absolutely smash them out of the park.
We have a mostly great squad at this level. Central defence is poor but hopefully we can square that away before the window shuts. I’m sure Critch has his targets and I’m sure he isn’t daft enough to not realise where we are going wrong.
Without sounding too cliché, our team are still getting to know each other. The football has been great to watch so far and I for one, am still very excited about the season ahead. Let’s not call for the gaffer’s head too soon, eh?
