16,086 v Scunthorpe.

Apparently a new record for the National League. Ok they reduced the price of tickets to £10, but good on them.

Also 10,161 for Wrexham at home to York, and 7,091 for Chesterfield at home to Halifax.

Meanwhile, Codwood had a magnificent crowd of 3,371 at home to Lincoln !

The thing about being so low down is that the scope to rise is so much higher.

Remember just before Forest's meteoric rise, County beat them home and away.
Also a pretty good County player inherited a sum of money and promptly gave up the game.

My first love always Blackpool, but I've moved around the country a few times and always like to see a local game (sponsored both Witton Albion and Nantwich in the 90s.)
I went to this local game as a convenient alternative to my town side who were playing away at godforsaken Stourbridge. Between 1500 and 2k Scunny fans made the trip to Meadow Lane.
Crowd boosted by a load of Forest fans who have form for attending their poor neighbours games when there is no Forest game on, a kind of strange day out in the way some of our fans gravitated toward Fylde at one time just to see a game.
Making the game £5 for under 22s and concessions, and a tenner for adults was a great move when the country is going through what seems to be a massive financial crisis.

Macauley Langstaff at Notts is just the kind of striker we should have gone for at the start of the season . I suppose every other league club is saying the same though.

Did you know Mike Worthington at Witton? A great little club and Mike's was a good guy.

There's not been a season go by when I've got to the end of March and not been able to say which players our club should have signed last summer! 😁
