That 'we never create' and the 'poor PR and Marketing around Season Ticket Sales'


I seem to have counted three perfectly timed incoming signings in the week leading up to the Early Bird Discount, A Fantastic and Inspiring Interview from the New and extremely competent Sporting Director a Great little video of the lads and the upgraded training facility as they return to Pre-Season Training, An announcement regarding the Preseason Fixtures and Training Camp, A Great 'Video Montage' of the success we enjoyed under the well matched Neil Critchley and plenty of other tit-bits to boot.


Let's hope that our fans now do their bit and the Season Tickets sales get a boost, before the deadline expires 👍

Was thinking the same thing and just posted the same in another thread.

Clubs socials are doing great now, they're certainly doing a good job of advancing the buzz around the club. Let's keep it coming! 🍊

It's almost like there was a natural dead period in June and supporters shouldn't have gotten too upset over the lack of news. 🤔
 
It's definitely ramped up this last week or so, which was to be expected, but good to see.

We've also put out some positive media, with a couple of signings too.

You can already see a bit of a shift in the energy and positivity on various online media.

If we do get Norburn soon, then an attacking player in the next day or so, it'll be a massively different feeling.

Add to that tonight the players training video, with them actually on the grass which is what people want to see.

I'm sure the marketing team have plans to fill every space they can with some sort of positive news or reminders.

Lets hope you are right about ST's. Just renewed mine but I was the only person in the ticket office. The young girl told me emails would be going out mid-July with link to put ST on to smartphones for those going digital.

Come on Daz, I'd hardly say there is a buzz about the place yet, good rallying call though, but a long way to go yet. Sell Yates and Lyons and don't get Norburn would be a big blow. If we can keep Lyons and even Jerry and nail Norburn, then there would be a buzz, along with 2 or 3 other good signings and a couple of decent loans. It's too early for a buzz.

There is a cost of living crisis in this country. People are pissed off, under pressure. Unless the football drug is stimulating there won't be a buzz. End of.
 
Absolutely cannot wait for the season to start. Shrugged off the disappointment of last season and now absolutely buzzing for 5 August and hoping to get at least one pre season game in before then.

Any PR machine can always do more and ours in no exception. Just look at the Man united PR department working around the clock in a desperate attempt to keep their washed up has been of a club relevant.

I fully appreciate that no one outside of an FY postcode gives a stuff about us apart from our exiled brothers and sisters and those obsessed nobbers but I do think that the club could do more to keep us informed and beat the drum a bit more generally.

Just hope that the buzz lasts all the way through until May, and this time when Slippy Gerard comes a calling after landing a job at Wolves and blows his dog whistle, Critchley decides not to drop his pants and lube up.

We need to be right in the mix come Christmas otherwise our very own Lord Lucan will get itchy feet again and start begging the likes of Newcastle for a job putting out cones.

Anyway it’s win win as far as I’m concerned. He either fixes this shit sandwich that is all his doing or SS boxes him up and posts him to Mick McCarthy.

- I've just been offered a two in one dumpling maker for 80p in the AVFTT clicky ads.

Let's hope the next club video is Critchley laying out his masterplan for a new dawn of totaalvoetbal at Fortress Bloomfield Road. Overlapping centre halves and all.
