O/t : A Town called Malice

My Spanish friend was chief makeup artist and his wife had a role as an Arab. All shot in Tenerife.
 
Gave up half way through episode 3 .... I kept thinking it must surely get better ! ... only gave it that long as the music is quite good .... but yeah it's dire !
 
Watched the first two episodes and gave up. Decent soundtrack and some nice vintage Fila & Tacchini, but the plot and acting is shockingly bad.
 
This sounds ace. The modern day Eldorado maybe. Is it available for us paupers who never bent the knee to the evil Murdoch empire?
 
A town called Malice.
Title obviously pinched form 'A Town Like Alice'. Great film.
However, the film finished about halfway through the book.
Fantastic book. Written by Neville Shute.

It is a nick love production..... He has done The Business and a few other similar films

Always pays blinding attention to detail with the clothing

The details on the clothes were miles off to be honest, especially around some of the Adidas logos that weren't even invented during the 80s
