We’re off to see Ferocious Dog there soon and it’s a venue I’ve not been in yet. I note it’s on Topping St, is it the old 007 club?

Great venue - I was there at the weekend to see A Certain Ratio and been to numerous gigs there and have got plans for the ferocious dog, willie j Healey and ,skaface amongst others - admit to be quite regular

Nice atmosphere ,good and reasonably priced drinks.
Unusual to have an alternative music venue which attracts lots of known and upcoming bands from uk and overseas right in the middle of Blackpool.

Thanks for your 2 replies Tang. It was the fact that ACR and The Zutons have played there recently that drew my attention to it, it has passed me by somehow until now. Really looking forward to a new independent music venue for us. We love Brewery Arts in Kendal and Holmfirth Picturedome for up close and personal live music gigs. We will be seeing Pork Pie at Stone Valley North festival in August (great little festival by the way). We’re thinking of going to the Ska Face gig, saw them only a month ago but I can’t get enough of it 😎🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

Sounds brilliant, can’t wait. That’s where my nightlife journey started when it was The 007, with Schoey DJ ing. It’s fitting that I rediscover it 45 years later 🇯🇲😎

I'm sure I saw Ferocious Dog up at Stanhope a few years back at a festival. I wasn't aware the Bootleg social did put on proper music as I'm sure one of my lad's did a DJ mixing set there in the past & I thought it was just that sort of stuff. But having looked who they have on this year I did notice someone quite unique on in October.

Perhaps they should offer to host a few gigs for the co-flop arena while they sort out their technical issues.
