has anyone ever bought a android tablet from eBay?
im talking about the £40-60quid range
My iPad is on its last legs but don’t use it enough to justify a new one, so looking for a gap filler.
 
Have you thought about an Amazon Fire? You can get one new for 50 quid ish and they are great. Only drawback is you have less choice of Apps because your on Amazon and not Google.
 
cheap android tablets can run like shite.

i got the mediapad T3 from argos and its quick enough that i don't want to put my head through the screen but its not rapid (£99)

Have an alba tablet that cost £49 which I bought during a trip to Scotland when my ipad packed up. As long as you don't want to listen to music or take crystal clear pics it does an okay job. I tend to use it as a kindle device now for books but it's fine within its limitations.
 
If you buy one through amazon (doesn't have to be a Fire) you can easily send it back if you don't like it, and buy a different one. Sometimes worth paying a couple of quid extra through Amazon instead of eBay if you're not sure.
 
I’ve gambled and spent 40 quid on one. To be honest only really want it as a second or even third screen to my phone.
I’ll let you know how it is

My 2 pence worth. I bought two amazon fire tablets on black friday last year for 59 quid for my kids for xmas. They work brilliant for them and they have had some hammer. Just to add that was a deal they normally retail at £49. 99
