O/T Cods in Trouble

Oh heck - surely this will result in punishment? I hope they don't, as I'd much sooner BFC play them, than a southern based team.
AP must have money to burn. Maybe he should ask SS to form a partnership at BFC.

Exactly he's always going to pump money this is just a way of getting it through on the books.

I don't think some of our fans realise that IF we get a new shiny East and training ground however many millions that cost is also going onto our books as Debt.
 
They aren’t ‘in trouble’ as long as Mr Pilley and his company are both willing and able to provide the subsidy they have long been providing. And, of course, as long as the rules and regulations allow it.

We all know what has been going on in Mr Pulley’s life in recent months. It doesn’t seem to have had any effect on his willingness to subsidise football clubs. We shall see in time how that works out.

And for context, if Fleetwood posted those financial results in the Championship they would be among the top three or four ‘best’ results on a pound for pound basis (less so if it’s relative to turnover etc).

Maybe so but they've pretty much 'captured' Thornton as a catchment area now. Something Simon Sadler needs to address pronto imho.
