Good start by Lancs today taking the last 5 wickets for 40 runs. Hopefully we will see the Lancs batsmen score quickly to give themselves a chance. Same wicket as the one used in the Test so no idea how batting last will affect the result.

Difficult with rain overnight and in the morning. May be tempting, with lots of wickets in hand, to bat most of today (40 overs left) and perhaps have a lead of 150. Then with overcast conditions, bowl them out mid afternoon and get in the bar.

Unfortunately and not for the first time this season it looks like the weather is going to force a draw.

Still not even past the 110 over mark . . . can't remember the new batting bonus point rules but maybe need 500 before getting the full 5 points now so get whatever runs we need for max. batting points and get them into bat.

You never know - we blew top of the table Surrey away for under 100 a few weeks ago I'm sure we can do the same to the bottom side.
