Was it the coast guard one? Only there was an emergency lower walk prom as someone had possibly gone in to the sea so coast guard helicopter was called from Anglesey.
They found a vacant mobility scooter parked up by the sea wall but no sign of the owner.
Search called off helicopter and life boat stood down they think the mobility scooter may have been stolen.

That’s actually quite scary to think of the cost involved in scrambling the helicopter from Anglesey and the Lifeboat too all for an abandoned mobility scooter. Don’t get me wrong it’s fantastic that a response like that is possible as something more sinister could have happened but it does make you wonder how often things like this must happen and what the subsequent cost of the wasted time and resources must amount to.

It was near my house. Apparently a report that someone had gone in the sea at Norbreck. The helicopter was on training from Crewe and cameto help coastguard and RNLI search. After an hour they couldn't find anyone so stood down based upon the report had only been made by one person.
That helicopter was SO loud.

Helicopter flew over my house, quite low. Amazing noise, not a nice day for a swim.
