O-T Help required re lost phone

So after a great win yesterday I went to everyones favourite kebab shop. Unfortunately my phone was lost somewhere on Harrowside heading towards Lytham Road. is there not an option to find the phone either by someone else tracking it or you yourself? i found a phone on my road in Macclesfield and took it home and about 1/2 hour later a trembling school kid was knocking on my door asking if i'd found a phone? One very relieved kid.

Yeah my iPad tracked it to Dutton Road up to 06:11, but they were adamant they didn’t have it, which is true the person who picked it up could’ve been walking past when they switched off the phone or the battery died.
