My wife purchased a couple of tickets for Lionel Richie at this years festival but, as you know Lionel isn’t appearing (again) and has been replaced by Nile Rogers who, neither me nor my wife want to watch
Getting through to anyone at Ticket Master is an absolute nightmare but the small print in their conditions say tickets aren’t exchangeable nor can you get a refund if a concert isn’t cancelled.
In my opinion Lionel Richie has been cancelled and that is who we paid to see so surely we can get our money back (£140)
Anyone had any previous experience of anything similar?
Any advice much appreciated.

no chance of a refund. Get them sold on the secondary market would be my advice and at least claw back some cash. Nile is quite entertaining BTW and his band is slick but I appreciate disco might not be everyones bag!

As long as it takes. Couldn't care less if mine take 6 months to get refunded.

As for Lionel Richie, I'd much rather see Nile Rogers any day of the week. Each to their own of course
So you want a million pound company to keep your money for as long as it takes rather than have your money in your bank account.
Weird.

Check out scarletmist.com they might help you. It is an ethical but free site I have used for face value or less sales.

Nile rogers will be are far better gig thats why there is no refund probably
You and your missus should go

Wonder how long before I get my Foo fighters money back.
I reckon it will be within the next four weeks dependant on who you bought them from. I got ours from Gigs and Tours which is really SeeTickets under another name. Usually, they send an email confirming cancellation with refund protocol attached.

Live Nation (Lytham Festival Owners).......Are Ticket Master (The Ticket sellers)
So chances of getting your money back.....🤔

Groupon & special offers will be kicking in on certain nights, just to get the numbers up...Week 2 could be very interesting

It's been all over the lytham festival Facebook for a month or so...... Lots of cheesed off punters wanting money back as Lionel isn't playing

The excuse for no refunds is that it is a festival and not an individual performance

It's a total rip off and 70 quid for nile Rodgers is too much

If you wanna see nile go to aintree races a couple of weeks before for 40 quid and see some racing as well
