Lancs first match is on Tuesday at Sedbergh.

They played Cumbria at the same venue today, The team was Tom Aspinwall, George Balderson, George Bell, Jack Blatherwick, Josh Boyden, Cian Dickinson, Matthew Hurst, George Lavelle, Jack Morley, Harry Singh, Dane Vilas.

The only other recognised players who can start on Tuesday are Keaton Jennings, Tom Bailey, Josh Bohannon and Will Williams. Shows Lancs are down to the bare bones. Could be an opportunity for a youngster to make a name for himself.

Play started at 1, match reduced to 36 overs. Essex won toss and will bowl first. Graham Onions in charge assisted by Crofty.
