Great bunch of lads run this Football Club, it’s based at Blackpool and fylde college on the Astro’s. they’re entering their 8th season and looking for more players. Expanding to 16 teams in the league I believe. They play Monday nights, 50 min games (25min halves) each team has 10 players and plays 7 a side rolling subs. Generally play at least 32 mins at a bare minimum. Kick off 7.30 or 8.30.
They also have a women’s league on Tuesdays, Wednesday night friendlies and Thursday a mixed development league. I know they don’t want amazing players but more after players that are new to the game, players that are struggling with confidence, coming back from injuries, overweight or getting on age wise.
I’ve played the last couple of seasons in the Monday night games and they are competitive but also played in the right spirit, I can’t recommend enough and if any of you guys fancy coming down and trying it you’d be more than welcome.
