Jennings still out with a hamstring injury (training with Pool?), Anderson plays. Broad plays for Notts.
Not a good morning for Lancs, 118-5 at lunch.

We'll see when Notts bat. Lancs were 80-1. Perhaps they are thinking about bad weather as they are scoring at 4.64 runs an over, Bailey's scoring rate is192!
 
I told you all that Hameed was the business :)

With the new points system wins are even more important than previous years. We haven't managed one yet but as 15 wickets have fallen today hopefully we can get a result out of this.

A pretty even day I'd say?
 
I really hope Hammy fulfils his full potential and finally cements his place in the England team 👍

Very good, see what you did there.

I've not seen any of the game, but I'd rather them be off the field than playing against Broad in his back yard with the ball possibly swinging due to the overcast conditions.

It's only day 2,so our first decent chance of a result after our other matches were done in part by the weather.

I only had the radio on Dave but it seemed both batsmen were untroubled . . . maybe the gloomy weather may have changed that.

Jimmy & Broady may take all the headlines but out of the 21 wickets to fall they only have 2 of them!!

We are in a decent position now and hopefully the weather won't play a big part.

If the rain stays away they should have a big enough lead to get them back in for the last hour 👍🌹

Nop - go steady for an hour and slog like mad about 100 more enough so, about 280 enough - Get Hammed out and that’s worth 3 wickets

If we get a full days play . . I'd throw the bat from the start . . . as you say get another 100 after 90 mins and get them in before lunch.

Looks like a lunchtime declaration coming . . . giving them about 300 to chase in 2 sessions.

The two Toms not hanging around -16 off that over

With Mahmood & Wood not even in the starting XI we have a very decent attack.
 
Another gone . . commentary team don't seem too happy.

I thought the BBC was supposed to be unbiased?
